After reading Victor Kennedy's blog What Kind of Ball Are You?, I decided to share my response to this question, at the BNG Iowa meeting. We were asked to share what kind of ball best describes our career, personality and purpose...
My response was a ping-pong ball. As a Realtor, one of my main jobs is as a go-between...I go between my clients and other agents (who are representing other clients), lenders, attorneys and closing agents. And so, I am often bounced back and forth at different angles and speeds. And, sometimes bounced completely off the table when a transaction falls apart due to financing, appraisal issues or a more competitive offer!
But, the great part about being represented by a Realtor is that there is a go-between in place for you. Clients don't have to be the one bouncing all over and don't have to handle all the processes, know the terminology and determine the timing of events.
